Music for the contemporary dance performance “The Cave” by Echodrama Cultural Group. Like the performance, the music is based on the allegory of the cave in the “Republic” written by ancient Greek philosopher Plato and sees it with a contemporary look.

The music follows the evolution of the allegory with ambient and experimental electronic elements, as well as with melodic and rhythmic bursts.

“The Cave” premiered in 2013 at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation Theatre in Athens. Several performances in municipal cultural festivals in Athens and on Attica islands (Hydra, Poros, Kythira) followed.
