Music for the contemporary dance performance “Rhei” by Echodrama Cultural Group. Like the performance, the music is inspired by the concept of perpetual motion in the maxims of Heraclitus, the ancient Greek philosopher.

“Everything flows” in life… and everything flows in this production. The music compositions, the choreography and the video art flow from one part to the next. The initial flow of the river is followed by the ebb and flow of human relationships, which in turn is followed by the blood, without whose flow there would be no life. This is followed by the movement of the planets and the galaxies, then by the rise and fall of civilizations, then by the blooming and wilting of flowers, preparing for the final depiction of flow: life and death itself… The circle of life and death repeats and, as Heraclitus wrote, “the sun is new each day”.
